My blog represents all I have completed in this class. Throughout all the blog posts i haven't only been taking pictures but learning new compositional skills to be able to take better pictures. Also most of my pictures i have taken have all contributed to my voice and the perspective i create to show others my life. One shoot I look at was shutter speed shoot because this made me take time to take my pictures and set up my scenes. I enjoyed this shoot as well because It helped me fully understand shutter speed and how to use it correctly. Another shoot i look back on is the ISO shoot, this taught me how to use different elements to capture the correct picture and using the right ISO to make it even better. My blog empowers me and give me something to look back on. All the work i have done this year has been great and i have learn so many different elements like color, shape, space, value, and texture. Overall i have learn a lot and enjoyed photography. All the shoots teach you a lot weather you realize it or not. I have become a better photographer after these past two semesters. I learned all the skills to make my photos the best they can be. I have come from barely understanding how to use my camera to being very well with it. Not a professional photographer but a lot better then the average parent. My voice is my life and the perspective of it i show to those that look at my work. I tend to take photos of things i see everyday and the things that surround me. My work is unique because its mine and shows the journey i have come from to knowing nothing to being able to take very well pictures with using the correct photography skills. Ive gained a lot of inspiration from this class to become a better photographer. Which i tend to try to do with even when i take pictures on my phone i remember the rules of composition to empower even my phone photos i take. I have learned a lot this year in photography and wouldn't change anything i have done in this class. I have put the work in the make my images the best and enjoyed it. I think the work i have done represents me and my perspective on life and i am perfectly fine with it portraying that. I couldn't have asked for better a better photography teachers either. Thanks Mrs. Hanh and Mrs. Meyers for your encouragement and instruction.

Describe:
I took pictures of people. I mostly took pictures of family and friends during this shoot. I didn't set any scenes up rather taking pictures of people naturally. Analyze: I used some rules like don't center and some instances rules of thirds if possible. I mostly used color from the natural light and greens around. Interpret: My subject matter during this shoot was people and those i surround myself with. I put my voice in by showing you who i surround myself with and a perspective in on my life. this doesn't change my view on the world because its what i see everyday. -What did you choose your subject matter? Evaluate: I think my strength was being able to capture people naturally happy. My weakness would have to be the range of rules I used. I wouldn't change this shoot because whats not broken doesn't need to be fixed. PreviousNext Describe:
I took these pictures because this is my backyard and i see it everyday. I didn't have to set up this scene it was all natural. Analyze: I tried to use rules of thirds but this didn't work out very well because take a panorama you have to worry about all the other pictures taken so it'll work out. I used natural lighting and didn't change anything because this is how my backyard looks. Interpret: I choose my subject matter to be my backyard. I incorporated my voice by showing you what I see everyday and have made many memories in this yard as well. Evaluate:-4 sentences My strength of this assignment would be taking the pictures correctly making the panorama work. I also did a good job of editing the images to make them work. A weakness would have to be I didn't do well enough taking the high, medium, and low images. I wouldn't change this project i enjoyed it and excited to do the manual panorama too. Describe:
I took pictures of places that are around me and are meaningful to me. The reason I went to the place I did is because these are significant places to me. All of these place I took pictures of I didn't need to set up the set other than taking the pictures in different ways. Analyze: I used different rules for instance don't center, leading lines, rules of thirds, and more that I probably don't realize. I used different elements and principles like color, shape, and texture. Interpret: My subject matter is places that are significant to me and have meaning to me. I incorporated my voice because these place are meaningful to me. This assignment help me realize the places that are important to me and have many memories connected to them. Evaluate: I would say my strengths of this shoot was incorporating my voice. The reason i think that is because all the places I took my pictures at were all significant places to me. I don't think this assignment can be changed but it will be a different shoot next year for the parks department. PreviousNext Describe:
I took a lot of different pictures all representing nature. I took most of my photos in my field and on my land. I didn't have to set up scenes because nature is natural but i had to take the photos from different angles. Analyze: Some rules I used was don't center, rules of thirds, and leading lines. Some principles i tried to use was color. I did this by trying to capture natural color. Interpret: My subject matter was nature. I incorporated my voice by taking photos of things i see everyday and surround where i live. I would say this helped me realize the world doesn't have big building, beauty is all around us you just have to find it not create it. Evaluate: I would say my strengths on this shoot would by my use of composition and capture of color in nature. My weaknesses would probably be my a negative to one of my strengths which is that i didn't use enough rules for composition. I used about 4 rules throughout thirty photos. I wouldn't change this shoot cause it allows the photographer to pick what they want to take pictures of and forces us to map our shoot before even take a picture PreviousNext describe-
I took picture of food! to be more specific I took pictures of many types of food using different techniques. I and to set up each scene to make the food look more appealing. Analyze- I used many rules of composition in this shoot to improve my photos. I used leading lines, get close, rules of thirds, and many more. My pictures captured the color in each station of food. Interpret- My subject matter in this shoot would be color. I tried to capture the most color out of each station of food. Using the color to fill my picture and the food more appealing. Doing this shoot made me realize how companies can make their food look so good. Evaluate- I think my strengths in this shoot would be my use of many rules of composition. Another would be how I was able to bring as much color out of each station. One weakness would be setting up the scene or filling the photo. I wouldn't change this assignment was very fun and learn a lot. PreviousNext Describe: 2-3 sentences
I took pictures of most things that were either things that don't go together or worn vs new. I got most of my pictures at my house didn't have to travel far. I set probably 80% or more of my scenes up because most things don't go together. Analyze: 2-3 sentences I rules different rules of composition during this shoot. Mostly focused on don't center, and rules of thirds. But some of the images i took were centered but they look better that way. Interpret: 2-3 sentences My subject matter was mostly worn vs new. I took pictures of things that represent my life and things i see everyday. Doing this shoot made me realize whats important to me and what use to be used to what we use now. Evaluate:-4 sentence I think i did well on this shoot because most of my pictures were straight to the point. This shoot covered all the things i use everyday and represent me. One weakness would be my centering I think i might of centered to much but I think the photos turned out. I wouldn't change this assignment i enjoyed it. Describe:
Our project was to copy a famous photographer. I picked walter Ioos, which he is famous for sports photgraphy. I copied him by taking pictures of my teammates when i had a track meet. I set my scene up by when they were running or when they were finished running. Analyze: In the photos i used panning and shutter speed. I kinda also used leading lines because of how they ran on the track. The track and the uniforms people had on were colorful so kinda worked out in my favor of color. Interpret: My subject matter would be track and sports photography. I put my voice in this shoot by taking pictures of those i surround myself with and the places i go to run. I realized that sports photography takes a lot of images to just get one or two good pictures. Evaluate:-4 sentences My strength of this project would have to be panning because i was able to use that technique to get good focused images. My weakness would have to be shutter speed because my first few pictures i took i quickly realized i was on a slow shutter speed. I enjoyed this project and don't think it should be changed. Only thing would be is that you should have the students pick their artist don't show them a list or let them use the people from list. This would create diversity and a lot more different presentations. Next Describe:

The rules of compostion mostly helped me when i was taking pictures inside. -What elements and principles did you use and how? I would say i mostly used rules of thirds to make my pictures look nicer. I also tried to use leading lines and dont center, which made my photos better and more interesting Interpret: -What did you choose your subject matter? I choose my subject matter as ISO. I focused on different types of lighting like night, indoor, and day. I choose this subject because this was the assignment i had to do. -How did you incorporate you VOICE as an artist? Also the way I used the rules of composition to take my pictrues -How did this assignment help you to VIEW YOUR WORLD DIFFERENTLY? This assignment help me realizehow powerful ISO can be. Another is how differently lighting effects photos. Evaluate:- -What were your strengths/ weaknesses in this assignment? I honestly think my weakness would have been understanding the ISO and different lighting controls. But i didnt struggle very much and use to it quickly. My strength would probably be the different perspectives I was able to create from practically the same picture but different. Same focus different perspective -How/ what would you have changed in this assignment if anything? I enjoyed this assignment and this it was very well. I wouldnt change much at all. Think everything worked out well and shouldnt be changed. But added, Maybe more indoor lighting stations and different lights. PreviousNext Describe:

With being in the forest and field most things I took photos of was natural so didnt have to take much time to set up the scene. Analyze: -How did you use the rules of composition to make better images? I used rules of thirds and do not center for most of the images I took. -What elements and principles did you use and how? I used shutter speed because this photo shoot was about shutter speed and how we can use it. Using shutter speed made my photos more interesting. Interpret: -What did you choose your subject matter? My subject matter I would have to say would be the forest and the country. I would say that because took most of these on my property and in noblesville square. -How did you incorporate you VOICE as an artist? I incorporated my voice by the setting I choose for when I took the pictures. -How did this assignment help you to VIEW YOUR WORLD DIFFERENTLY? This assignment made me realize how powerful the shutter speed control is. I now understand it and realize what you can do with it. Evaluate: -What were your strengths/ weaknesses in this assignment? I would say my freeze motion was the best while my panning wasnt very good because it was difficult for me. -How/ what would you have changed in this assignment if anything?
